Governance 101
But there are early stage governance tasks to give attention to. Get a Co-founder Agreement, start cloud bookkeeping early, be certain about your first hires and option plans, use an employment agreement (make sure it covers confidentiality, invention assignment and non-compete), and identify, and plan to protect, your IP.
What about your first Board? How do you get the right members, why will you meet and what will you need to record?
We're able to make sure you start right.
From first governance principles to choosing or being the Chair and establishing the Board, to recruiting an Advisory Board at the right time, we can provide the information you need.
We run an initial session to set the scene about governance, and then we'll run through checklists of requirements for your type of organisation to keep things simple, and adapt for your specific circumstances. We'll leave you with electronic template documents to enable you to comply with your legal obligations, but we'll stay at hand through a pay-on-use telephone subscription whenever you have a question.
Each quarter, we'll check in with you to understand how your business is developing, and plan what's needed for the following three months.
